Tommy Aaron Messer, 74 ,of Luther, Oklahoma passed from this life July 17, 2026 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Tommy was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma January 26, 1952 to Imogene and Troy Messer. He attended Luther High School where he graduated in 1970, and went to serve as a marine from 1973 to 1975. He worked for the City of Edmond for 22 years and retired in 2017. Some things Tommy enjoyed doing in his time on earth were going dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Tommy shares 2 daughters with Birlene Langley. He was known for his friendly personality and always enjoyed visiting with those around him. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Imogene Messer; his brothers, Ferrel Messer, and Troy Harris Messer; and his sisters Tronja Gray and Jeannie Kay Mcarther. He is survived by his daughters Michelle Jeffries and husband Billy, and Hope Kuhlman and husband Greg; 2 ex wives; Birlene Langley, and Debbie Bagwell; his grandchildren Jeremy Ring, Ashli Sales and husband WA, Emily Wright and husband Billy, Skylur Jeffries, Colton Kuhlman, Rylie Jeffries, Lindsay Kuhlman, and Hailey Kuhlman; as well as eight great grandchildren; Hunter, Holden, and Harlow Wright, Lakin and Baylor Sales, Addison Alkire , Jackson Kuhlman, and Wailon Jeffries. Tommy will be remembered by his kind heart, bravery, willingness to help others, and the love he had for his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Luther. Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8PM at the Funeral Home.
